Lee Burley’s 3.4 litre 2JZ stroker engine!

3.4 litre 2JZ stroker engine being built here at the moment for Lee Burleys Toyota Supra Mk4, you can see more details of his car as it is now here Lee Burleys Toyota Supra Mk4 Aerotop 700+BHP ZF 8 Speed – Garage Whifbitz. This one will be having the full works including a cnc ported VVTi cylinder head, Whifbitz cams, Whifbitz turbo kit with a Turbosmart electronic wastegate and Precision 6670 and more! Aiming for about 900bhp on this build for the moment with more to come if the owner wants it 😎

So first off is to build the bottom end, this consists of:

  • CP pistons
  • Eagle stroker crankshaft
  • Manley H-Tuff conrods
  • Titan Motorsports billet main caps all lined bored to the engine.

The engine is being built with brand new lower and upper sumps, oil strainer and all new nuts and bolts too, no messing with this one!


ARP 625+ head studs and OEM Toyota 2JZ-GTE head gasket ⬇️


  • Fully modified brand new 2JZ-GTE VVTi cylinder head, CNC ported and fitted with Supertech valves, BC valve springs, Supertech bronze valve guides and seals.
  • And then fitted with a set of our latest grind of Whifbitz cams, these ones being 278 duration with 10mm lift.

  • HKS cambelt
  • Powerhouse Racing adjustable exhaust cam pulley
  • Whifbitz billet cambelt tensioner bracket, (OEM brackets can snap)
  • New OEM Toyota water pump, cambelt tensioner, idler pulley, VVT inlet cam pulley and crank sprocket.

  • Whifbitz 2JZ-GTE VVTi billet cam covers in black
  • Whifbitz carbon fibre front engine covers, lower and upper
  • Whifbitz 2JZ-GTE tubular exhaust manifold featuring our billet collector, this one will be modified and fitted with a Turbosmart electronic wastegate which means no need for a boost solenoid, no pipes that can split or pop off and full control over the boost
  • New Toyota water neck modified with water feeds blocked off and smoothed
  • New Toyota fanbelt tensioner.

Next step we’ve added Lee’s existing Hypertune inlet manifold which uses a drive by wire Bosch throttle body and is already fitted with FIC 1000cc injectors and Radium direct mount fuel pressure regulator which fits on to the fuel rail for a really clean install.

We’ve also bolted on the Precision 6670 Next Gen turbo on to the Whifbitz billet exhaust manifold and fitted a set of our billet engine pulleys in blue on this engine to go with the rest of the colour scheme. Doesn’t it look good!
